Hot sauce is a pretty popular condiment in our home and we are ALL fans including my little monkey’s. We have Sriracha, Tabasco, Lizano, Venom and good old Frank’s Red Hot.  They all have different flavours and we use each for different dishes, yes we are an unusual bunch!    Frank’s Red Hot has a great flavour to it and so handy to have around for recipes, drizzling and dipping.  If you are already a fan of Frank’s Red Hot, you will love this!

The Mix

I LOVE roasted cauliflower, it brings out the most wonderful flavour!  This is a meal and this one-dish tasty, tangy, cheesy and hearty, healthy comfort food will satisfy you completely.  I kept munching on the cauliflower smothered in sauce, raw it was irresistible.  I hope that everyone had a great weekend and enjoying the long weekend in the States.  It is finally starting to feel like summer around here!  I went to the lake and just loved it!  It has been over 6 months since I have last seen it, other then our city lake of course.  It was invigorating to jump in and re-acquaint myself with the icy water! Summer is definitely on its way and I cannot wait!!!

Buffalo Cauliflower Chicken Bake

This delicious Buffalo Chicken and Cauliflower Bake is such a comfort food and meal in one casserole dish. Adapted from Paleo'ish on a Dime.
Recipe type: Dinner
Serves: 6
  • 1½ lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into ½ inch cubes
  • 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 1½ tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 6 tbsp Frank's Red Hot sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (I used a bit of blue as well)
  • 1 cup green onion, diced
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Mix together olive oil, Red Hot sauce, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Add the cauliflower and stir until coated. Scoop out the cauliflower and add to a 9 x 13 greased baking pan
  4. Set the bowl aside as the sauce will be used later.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring once mid-way through, until cooked through and browning.
  6. Meanwhile, saute the cubed chicken in a pan until cooked through and then add to the bowl with the sauce and coat the chicken well.
  7. Once the cauliflower is done, top the cauliflower with the saucy chicken, cheese, and green onions. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until golden.



  1. Donna GogginThis looks like a great recipe but rlealy need to know if it is low carb. My husband is diabetic and am looking for good recipes to do for him as well as me. Thanks for the info.

    • Hi Donna, Yes Cauliflower is low-carb and all the ingredients listed are low-carb. Just be careful of which cheese you decide to use. I believe Cheddar is pretty low compared to Swiss cheese. Enjoy!
