Lasagna Dip

Lasagna Dip

Hellooooo Lasagna Dip!  How can you go wrong with a Lasagna that you can dip?  This was easy, quick to make and just pop it in the oven when you are ready to serve it.  Presto, you have a hearty meal that the kids will love or a crowd pleasing appetizer!  I love ‘chip and dip,’ but wanted to make something that felt a bit more like a meal.  This did the trick!  Scoop up the mouth-watering meaty, cheesy sauce with chips, fresh baguette or garlic bread and load it up!  Best of all, it is in one pan so easy to serve and easy to clean up!

The Layers

This recipe is also very flexible and you can make a skinny version, substituting with light cheeses and turkey mince if you prefer? If you are pushed for time, just use tomato sauce in a jar and simply add it to your cooked meat.  Which ever way, this recipe is quite tasty and FUN!  The cottage cheese is just spread on the bottom, then the meaty tomato sauce next and finally topped off with mozzarella cheese and bits of cooked lasagna.

Nearly ready to dip

My mouth is watering just thinking about it!  Load it up with cheese and pieces of lasagna noodles and you’re done!  Get ready to sink into it when it comes out of the oven hot and golden.

Sprinkle the Cheese Looking so good!

I served this appetizer with freshly sliced baguettes, toasted garlic crostini’s and it is also delish with crispy tortilla chips.  A terrific family meal and great way to sit around together,  dip, load and chat the night away about our day’s events.
